Proposed Amendment to our Bylaws
April 23, 2025
Our board of directors is hereby announcing a proposed amendment to our Bylaws. This amendment would mandate an alternative dispute resolution ("ADR") process - Binding Arbitration - as our mechanism for resolving disputes with shareholders. This would preempt law suits potentially resulting in court trials and the lengthy and costly legal processes they typically present.
The motivating intention of this amendment is to save substantial amounts of both time and money on resolving any future disputes. Legal fees associated with lawsuits are expensive. Because we wish to delay raising ratest for all shareholders as long as possible, it is important for Forest Park Mutual Water Company to ratify an amendment to our Bylaws that we expect will expedite resolution of any future disputes and significantly reduce legal costs.
The vote on whether to ratify this amendment will take place during our next annual shareholders meeting (and not merely a vote by the board), which will take place on September 25, 2025.

Disaster Cleanup Photos
On September 12, 2022, our neighborhood experienced intense rainfall and subsequent flooding and mudslides. Tragically, homes and lives were lost.
On September 24, 2022, our community came together with over a hundred volunteers from out of town to help clean up.
